Trainee Title: Apprentice Mechanic/Warehouse Operative
Hours: Full time
Training Allowance: £110 per week (tax and NI free)
Length of Training: Up to 6 months
Placement Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire

About the Apprenticeship Placement:
Working in the vehicle conversion and production department, the role is a hands on opportunity to work with prestige and super cars, learning workshop skills and developing general knowledge of the specialist motor trade. This will involve working under the Production Manager and alongside the Workshop team, helping to ensure that specialist vehicle conversions are completed to the highest standards and to deadline.
Main Duties include:
The role involves a variety of work which will develop with training into greater responsibilities including tyre and exhaust fitting, vehicle detailing, stock management, workshop fitting and driving. There may be additional responsibilities which will be required from time to time such as assisting warehouse staff.
Most workshop training is undertaken in-house under the supervision of a highly experienced fitter and mechanic. Other general training will be undertaken on the job within the team, allowing the individual to develop continually.
The successful applicant will be highly motivated to undertake the Apprenticeship and commit to training to become a highly qualified Mechanic, have a full clean driving licence and a flexible and enthusiastic approach to work.
Training and Support: You will receive work based training and support from the placement provider and support from a Training and Employment Co-ordinator at PATH for the duration of your training.
